Just a reminder to everyone that the School Board elections are this Tuesday from 2:00pm to 9:00 pm. It is a critical time in our township when it comes to the school board, let your voice be heard. Even if you don't have children in the school system the actions of the school board do have an effect on you. As many may already know I've decided to try to stay away from as much of the political garbage as possible, right down to the practice of proping signs up at every possible street corner. When you are deciding on who to vote for keep this in mind, out of all of the candidates there is only one that has been at as many board meetings, since last April, trying to figure out what has been going on as I have been to. He had been appointed to fill a vacancy last fall and has tried to make a difference. Unfortunately he has found that the politics that are in place in the board and the administration are hard to fight thru in a minority capacity. I've been one of the more vocal attendees at these meetings trying to get clear communication from the board and the administration on the matters and happenings of the schools,I've even been the mouth piece for those that have a fear of public speaking. I know it is not easy to make these school board meetings, with the type of schedules we hold especially those with kids in sports and even more so those that volunteer their time in youth sports. I just ask that you get the word out about the election, and you make sure you vote for some body that is going to be there to fight and make the tough decisions for the right reasons, so our children get the education they deserve. Though we are running independently we are fighting for a common cause. John Tomasello and I still believe one person can make a difference. Pass this e-mail along to as many Winslow Twp. residents as you know. Let your voice be heard, VOTE on April 18. Get the politcs out of the way of our children's education, vote for the those willing to run independently. Thank you for your time, John Miller
